  1. yes, my fault, it was a tie, no scores for anyone, just playing along with the whacked out people on here who seem to rip everything apart after one show. Personally, i think it's pretty cool how they are doing this first weekend, ads a different vibe to the start of the season, and has definitely made these corps be more on their game for the first week of the season. Going to be a great season, i've just learned that after one night of following along on this forum, that i won't be doing it for anymore shows, I can't take all the smack that goes on in here. Lesson Learned. Later DCP.
  2. I got different info from someone one of the corps staff. It was so close! 1: Cadets - 70.36 2. Blue Stars - 70.35 3. Cavaliers - 70.34 4. Devils - 70.33 5. Crown = 70.32 6. BlueCoats - 70.31 7. Phantom - 70.30 8. SCV - 70.29
  3. Where do you find the feed on the BD site?
  4. They are working on an alumni corps. I think you can find out through the holy name cadets alumni website. You can get there through the yea site
  5. I was on the field behind the Cadets at retreat on Saturday night. I saw Cavies throwing Jolly Ranchers at the cadets, hitting them and their equipment. I saw behind the stadium before retreat, BlueCoats drummers slamming their fists on the Cadets snare drummers drums while the Cadets stood at attention. I saw a Bluecoats Snare Drummer smack his hand across the Cadets 4th bass drummers ### again while the Cadets were at attention. A Blue Coats bass drummer fell down as the corps were coming down the hill to get on the field because he was so drunk and needed two other bass drummers to help him get on the field, and to top it off, some of the Blue Coats bass drummers were throwing up on the field at retreat from being drunk. I was there, I saw it. When people are touching other corps members or equipment, or throwing things at them, it is crossing the line. I am just so happy that the Cadets maintained their composure even though they were being hit. I'm sure those corps knew the Cadets wouldn't retaliate, so it made it real easy to do the things they did. I'm also sure that this is part of the reason George removed the corps from the field so quickly, in addition to clearing the field for the Champion. It's a shame that some kids don't respect their corps enough to maintain their composure till the very end.
  6. Crown has been great the last two years, however, I don't feel like Cadets and Crown have a real rivalry yet. No disrespect to Crown since they are an awesome drum corps, but I see the Cadets still having the biggest rivalry with BD and Cavies.
  7. They've had some holes in the show because they lost a quad in spring training and a contra the week after spring training, and they never filled those spots as they are only marching 4 quads and 11 contras so they had some room in the roster to add the little girl.
  8. Man, george can't even get a break during SCV!
  9. Glad to see people are already flipping out about the Cadets show. They announced music and a concept. Relax. No one knows how much narration they will use, can you all just let it be until we see or hear something from them. Good Lord!
  10. I thought Annapolis was great this year and would be a great venue for DCI east. Great stadium, Great Parking, Great Town.
