DCI is very aware of the issues. No need to bombard them. I'm sure Bob Jacobs will post what DCI is doing to make sure the theater experience is optimized.
Getting together with other fans is the big draw for me. Hey, our little activity is in movie theaters! That's pretty cool and I'm all about supporting it.
Looks like a great mix of Hi Def new and some classic older stuff. Plus previews of 3 corps for 2010. I'm looking forward to seeing the Troopers and how they're doing. There's something for everyone.
I'm surprised, or not surprised, that the thread about some of the good things DCI is doing or suggesting as solutions isn't getting much play on here....

There's a difference between DCI major events that DCI runs directly and the local shows that are run as part of a license agreement with DCI. Venue and scheduling issues could easily be on the part of the local organizing group like a HS band or civic group. Not really fair to cast such venom here.
It's actually a very common practice used to develop a team following outside of their area. It makes the Cowboys the "home team" in another major Texas market where they can sell merchandise, tickets, television advertising, etc.
