It's hard to make finals, when you have a section (drumline, hornline) placing in the 15s. Good show, but it needed some for meat to play with the big boys on a Saturday night!

Yea, I saw that....ugh...Phantom has more show than Crown, but Crown is just better at selling theirs! I don't know how long Crown can hang on though. Lets wait and see if PR makes some show changes...Crowns gotta be out of changes thus far. It will be tight, but I do think PR will pull it off. Atl will be a great indicator where PR stands.

I agree...I love the shows, but they never seem to gain any ground as the year goes on.

Here is what it looks like from my angle... 1st and 2nd: Battle between BD and Cavies 3rd: Big battle between PR, Cadets, SCV, Crown and I guess Coats 8th: Boston 9th-12th: Battle between BLUE STARS, Glass, Colts, Sprit, Crossmen, PC, Madison Agree or dissagree????

Yes...SCV....another perplexing corps. I would love for them to be banging it out for a medal. But I'm still sticking with the Coats, Drumline is back and George Woz in front of the horns is nothing to sneeze at either...he can clean with the best of them!!!!

Here are my top three questions for the 2008 season: 1. Who will have more of a chance of getting a medal....Bluecoats or Crown? There is a lot of hype behind Crown, but I still think Coats have the more seasoned crew...but we'll see. I would love for one of them to place in the top three!!!!! 2. Bluestars or Academy: who will be having their last show of the 2008 season on a Saturday night? Bluestars have been getting better every year, but Academy seems to accomplish everything they set out to do. Wouldn't it be wild if they both made finals this year!!!!????!!!! 3. The new Open Class: I'm very excited to see how this new format works out this year?!!??!! I would love to hear everyone else's top 3 for the year....

I was just wondering what the section numbers for each open class corps was. I'm very courious to see if "numbers" play a game in the scores. I'm very excited to see the open competition this year. I feel that many of the old D 3 corps could give the old D2 corps a run for their money.

I'm looking for anyone who would be interested in starting a line in upstate NY. I"ve just moved to the area and don't see many lines in the Eastern part of the state. Great place to the begin one. Any sort of help would be great.

I have been saying this since 2001. I love the Cavie's shows but their progams just sort of end with out blowing my hair back. It always seems (to me) that the song before the closer tends to be their strongest.

Believe it or not...some bands "discourage" their students marching dci...especially bands that have huge active programs. Its sad, but true.
