You never know what you will find on the web these days. This is an interesting blog that was started by the drum major of the 2009 Citations Drum and Bugle Corps. I found it interesting to read and I hope you do too. the tan lines end here

I think video game music needs considered as well, there are some great soundtracks out there. When I listen to their soundtracks and such all I can think about it how well it would play out as a drum corps show. Modern video game music I believe try and draw you into a storyline that can create that perfect mood where you are actually affected by how some wierd character like completed a mission or something along those lines.

If there is stabbing in this show like Phantom had last year, maybe I wont mind the jazz piano... as much....

I was really looking forward to Clue this year... 3hree was one of my favorite 2008 shows and I felt like Clue was going to be in the same direction. App. Springs just doesn't scream Vanguard to me for this day and age... but coming from my favorite all time corps, I know they will pull something amazing off with this.

the music from gears of war! So dark and angry, it really keeps you on the edge of your seat! There are so many other pieces to choose from the soundtrack, however a lot of the pieces sound extremely similar which would kind of get old hearing the same theme for 12 minutes. But I still love the music, very dark, aggressive and in your face. I would love to see any corps tackle this.

Santa Clara Vanguard 2003 my all time favorite show! (there hasnt been a scv i didnt like) also I enjoy Phantom's and Bluecoat's show alot, they are two that also never disappoint me

all they need now is a uniform change back to what they were wearing (i think the 2006 looks amazing, or at least go back to the classic madison look) and they will be one of my favorites this year. Cant wait to see them sometime this summer!
