  1. Which 23-13 corps do you think is the next up and coming corps that will possibly make its way into the coveted top 12 in the coming years? Why?
  2. If you are looking for something fun and different then try Teal Sound!
  3. I waited to buy all of this year's regional patches online after the season only to discover the DCI store has sold out of the 2010 San Antonio regional patch. I knew I should have bought them on tour. Would anyone happen to have an extra San Antonio patch floating around or one they would be will to sell to me?

  5. TEAL SOUND IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE ADDITION OF MR. ROBERT W. SMITH TO THE 2011 STAFF It is with great pleasure and excitement to all of us affiliated with Teal Sound that we announce the appointment of Mr. Robert W. Smith as the Program Consultant for the 2011 Season. Robert's many years of experience in the drum corps and band world brings another piece of the puzzle together for Teal as we move forward into the future with the organization. Recently inducted into the Drum Corps Hall of Fame, Robert's many accomplishments in the music industry are widely known and we are very honored to have him begin work with the program. He will be serving in a role very much the same as Jeff Bridges did last year bringing his expertise and talents to the program in both the business end and the programming of the organization. "This is a great move for the corps as we continue to build for the future here at Teal", states Mr. Randy Blackburn, corps director. "Having someone with Robert's talents and being able to work with him again at this level is something I am very excited about as I am sure that all of the Teal Family will be too"! WELCOME to Teal Sound Robert!!
  6. Yes I'm all for Baltimore. To my knowledge there has never been a DCI show in Baltimore, MD. I think the Ravens Stadium and Baltimore would be a great site for World Championships. Especially with all the attractions in the Inner Harbor area in downtown. If not World Champions ships at least a DCI Premiere Event or Regional.
  7. Teal Sound has 3 baritones openings currently and we would love to have you this year. Email info@tealsoung.org for more info or call corps director Randy Blackburn at 850-591-2621.
  8. We at Teal Sound of course don't want to be last. We want to go out and have a good year. The most important thing for us is to go out and make a statement to show that we belong on the World Class level. As long as the kids have fun and understand that they did the best job they could then we will be happy regardless of what place we come in. The corps should be better than it was last year and this year is another part of the growing process as the next few years will be.
  9. I can't wait for this to be released! Will definitely be buying it!
  10. Glad this post has turned into a very informative one. If anyone knows any financial info on the corps that don't display it on their website that would be appreciated so we can add it to the above list.
  11. Glad to have been part of this organization! Great moment in time for Teal Sound!
  12. It's not so much that DCI hates Florida... I believe it has more to do with the corps not wanting to travel down that far for a show. The Valdosta, GA show was cancelled as a result of no Orlando show. Maybe if there were more shows closer together in Florida coming all the way down to Orlando wouldn't be a big deal.
  13. Three years of hard work have finally paid off. I am so glad I have been able to be a part of building the program at Teal. Also to those that marched at Teal in the years before 2007 THANK YOU VERY MUCH for all you did to keep the organization going. To the original founder Michael Butler thank you for your dream and to Randy Blackburn thank you for taking us to the next level. Nothing Else Matters
