The way I see it:
The show concept is based upon a female trying to find herself, from starting her own "life" out at college, to her 4th round of drinks at a couple, pursuing the perfect man, and her pursuit of material things.
I believe that George Hopkins, truly put together an amazing concept for such an idea -- Every American has their own dream, and executes their own destiny, and this is the way that George saw hers.
Thomas Jefferson replaced PROPERTY with HAPPINESS, when he went through with re-reading, and perhaps, the way the concept designer saw it was, with a little bit of history behind it.
Everyone sees things differently, and when seeing a show, one should always be open with a mind, until they have seen it perhaps more than once, or perhaps seeing ever...
It is not the idea if the portrayal of the story is accurate from the "Political" standpoint, but instead I see the story quite accurate to the womans questions, she loved her family, but she strived to be the best she could be all around, from being a mother to a working woman, to a survivor of cancer.
Also...
If everyones "Political Philosophy" were the same, we would never have any problems, ergo... the whole post would be null.
When you view this years show for the Cadets, do not think its just another "Mic and Core" and "Your Own Self Thoughts/Portrait", instead see it through the looking glass, into another's perspective.
