Hey i was just wondering if anyone knew what the color system is for crown...is Cream better than Purple or vice versa? thanks!

So the overwhelming amount of people currently say on this thread that it is overused and a crutch...i might just add that the people who are saying this mostly have marched back when the activity was MUCH different...tempo and pace of show IMO means a lot now a days (not saying it didn't previously) but it is used an awful lot on judges tapes, fatigue...IE tempos is always stated as a downside to a show especially in DCA. People say August there shouldn't be any Dr.Beat right? Go to any Jr Corps rehearsal from now to finals day...im sure you'll hear the dr. beat...maybe not every rep especially for production runs and large ensemble chunks but you'll hear it... My 2 cents

im not sure about 90...thats a bit high, but deff upper 80's for sure...around the same as last year i would say...maybe a little higher but DCA has this nack for just slotting corps...no matter how much better or worse they are, scores will probably stay right around the same... I've been wanting to audition at BAC for quite some time...this year i actually plan on auditioning there, as well as trying to get out to a PR Audition. Im not cutting myself from PR but im a realist so im just kinda taking the audition at PR as a learning experience, and hopefully taking BAC audition as my actual possibility.

ok...so after looking at recaps for the past two nights and thinking abut how "absurd" BD getting perfect scores in Visual Ensemble and Performance...it got me thinking...With the spread from BD to PR being just .325 (or something like that) and BD Having no where to grow in those two captions..and phantom only be able to grow in those two captions...and PR placing 1st 2nd and 3rd in al other captions including GE and Music...I would think that BD has something to worry about tonight...With nowhere to grow the only thing that could happen in those captions is for the gap to get smaller...unless for some reason PR doesnt do as well but they have only been gaining ground visually...so just my 2 cents..

...the only corps that hurcs havent beat are bucs...to say that they would likely be beat by 5 other corps this year even though they have beaten ES, Cabs ext.is rediculas. i see them deff in the top three if not 2nd overall...
