    Actually, in 1986 the Troopers 1st 2 shows were DCM shows not DCI, so I don't think you should count the 72.7 as a legitimate 1st score. However, on June 23rd, Troopers scored a 61.9 at a DCI sanctioned event. In 1985, (when Troopers finished 9th at Finals), also on June 23rd our 1st score was 63.8.

    Midnight Star is by David Friedman. It is from his book "Mirror From Another", an excellent collection of vibraphone solos. Musically speaking, I'm not sure that this would translate well to a full corps treatment, but I think it would make an excellent pit ensemble.
