  1. The Spartans had to go on first at most all of their shows, at lest until Michigan City because they were inactive last year. DCI rules puts them on first at most all of their shows. But I agree, they defiantly came out swinging this year after being inactive.
  2. Thats right... Oh crazy DCI judging.
  3. BD's guard got a perfect score on PRELIMS night?!?! Were they really that good?! I just can't imagine that. Has this ever happened before?
  4. Very interesting topic...It is funny how a big part of The Cadets is innovation, in 2006 we saw just that. (now im not going to say that i like the show...but It was new and different) Now, we are seeing all types of props. What if it was BD that used those benches in 2006, would the reaction have been the same? Keep in mind, Cadets have been innovaters for a long time. They brought Tubas to the activity for goodness sake. It is hard for people to accept something new and different. (early rock and roll anyone?) Back then the Gvmt arrested DJ's for playing rock and roll music. My point is this: Generally, people do not react well to change. The Cadets are about innovation, they will continue to push the boundries, the will continue to get crap, they will continue to be a leading role in shaping the future of DCI. *Would Blue Stars, and BD have used their props if the Cadets didn't try it first? Maybe, the world will never know. ~~ McLoven
  5. Im sure that no one is trying to fold, but yet at the same time, I'm sure that the Citations will still be around. Will they fold? probably not... Will they be the top 5 drum corps that they have became known as? Probably not. The citations will most likly pull through, and the Spartans will also most likely pull through. It is actually nice to see a corps come back from the dead, rather than another one die. Best of luck to both corps this season!
  6. Citations will take it again this year..they have the book, and the staff, and the talent for it
  7. I really like the Spartans 04 medusa show. Also..The magic show shouldn't have counted, they were clearly a div I corps back then, and just because of logistics had to compete in the div 2/3 circuit.
  8. I think a lot has to do with the fact that since so many open class corps have folded, it does not make much sense to have a long tour. It is a waste of money. It is easier to group all of the shows together near the end of the season, rather than spread them all out.
  9. It would be interesting to see the Cavies..not in the top 3....hasnt happen this century
  10. appears to be the case....hopefully not a tour baby....
  11. hum...sounds like some one is trying to start a bitter fight
