  1. Oh my…lol. Hopefully they don’t pull out Oprah Winfrey tarps and naked Jesus come Finals.
  2. Oh great. And here we go….. precautions??? Or the corps has COVID and not enough members to perform?
  3. The recent successes of Boston is a very good example of your point. $$$$ back in the day Star of Indiana was another.
  4. I’ve seen perfect guard scores given with a less then perfect guard. Yes I know…I know how the judging system works, and why. But in my opinion if you’re dropping all over, perfection is not achieved.
  5. BD (19) Cadets (10) Cavaliers (7) SCV (7) Phantom (2) Madison (2) Could this be the year???? Crown (1) Coats (1)
  6. 2012 I had tickets for Finals in the Crown block lol. Needless to say it was bad… as you said it was vicious. They were not happy and it was known by all around them…lol.
  7. Omg…lol. I was thinking that but didn’t want to say it. Although, I don’t think this anymore about Crown fans. But back circa 2009-2012, you’d better watch your back if you misspoke lol. And if they knew you were a BD fan……..ooooooooooo. IMHO, once they won in 2013 it calmed down a lot. Maybe it was the hunger for a championship.
  8. I saw on last nights recap that Madison is already outperforming their content scores in GE. Not a good sign this early in the season.
  9. Sorry….you’re right. Boston is perfect, no one should say otherwise. What’s going to happen when they have another 5th/6th place finish?
  10. Not really a shot at Boston and it does have to do with the conversation at hand when others are saying the Cavaliers need a larger guard to score better. Boston has one of, if not the largest guard in DCI. I watched Bostons performance last night and it was full of rifle drops ( at big moments) and out of sync silks. things I havent seen from them in recent years. Hence, the bigger is not always better reference. Quality>Quantity argument.
  11. Losing Gaines was the single most devastating thing to the Cavaliers design in the last 20+ years. All the shows he’s done for SCV could’ve been equally designed for an all male corps.
  12. I’m watching Bostons guard and I’m not getting the wow factor they’ve had the past few years. In fact I’m seeing more dirt and dropped rifles.Bigger is not always better.
  13. This again???? madison didn’t go Co-Ed because they couldn’t get male members with talent. It’s because their organization/board kept a design team that couldn’t design shows. I said it before… if The Scouts had consistently been in the Top 12 they would’ve never gone co-ed. As far as the Cavaliers being in the Top 6… I think there’s 30+ corps in dci that wished they were in that situation.
  14. I don’t get why everyone keeps talking about the guard size. They have 32. I’m counting 40 with BD and others even smaller. The 8 guard members aren’t changing the scores . there’s 5 weeks left till Indy. I’m going to wait on any doom and gloom until Allentown if it’s needed. I’ve seen corps, including the Cavaliers (2011), the Cadets many years, out of the gate clean as all and drop 2 or 3 spots come finals. I’ve also seen corps start the season in 5th and finish in the top two. There’s a lot of season left.
  15. Not sure about that… give it a few weeks. I think 4/5/6 could be anyones. Without major upgrades I don’t think SCV has the GE to be safe at 3/4.
  16. Agreed. I’m thinking a few changes need to be made in the design team/design formula and educational staff for this to happen. Very happy with the brass team especially Kevin LeBoeuf… he’s an amazing young educator and incredibly talented. They need to do whatever it takes to keep him. His passion for the activity is obvious. Also Mac’s drum lines are consistently top notch.
  17. It looks like the cheap blue tarps you buy at Home Depot. I just kept staring at in Saturday in Tempe
  18. Not one of my favorites from them. I’ll take their weird shows from the past over this any day lol
