I know, but... what's wrong with having an Open Class Regional that's seperate from Prelims/Semis/Finals, like they do with the World Class.

You've got to figured too that the max. number of members allowed on the field was smaller back then.

Then why not have the regional in the center of the country? Like in Indiana? Isn't that kinda why they moved finals there for 10 years?

I didn't go to the Dublin show, but I think it would be ALOT better if it was moved to America. It has got to be expensive for not only the spectators, but for the corps performing (including INT) to travel all the way to Ireland just for one show. Oh, wait... There are numerous cities/towns around the country of the U.S. of A. named Dublin.

I sure do hope so, since this is their 70th year anniversary (sp?). I've seen them perform twice this year so far, both times I was hoping to hear Conquest, and both times.....

The way I see it, if at one show there are Open Class and World Class corps competing, and they get judged on the same sheets, I think those sheets should be used at all shows, even if it's just World Class or just Open Class in that show. I don't know how the judging systems and the sheets work exactly, but if they use those sheets at every show, then it might be easier for the staff/members to know if they're better or worse. I may be wrong, but I believe at an Open/World Class show, if all of the corps are judged on the same sheets, it's usually the sheets for the World Class. Therefor, the scores for the Open Class corps very well may go down a few points. But if they were to use Open Class sheets, the scores for the World Class corps would go up more than if they were to use World Class sheets. But if they somehow came up with a modified sheet to use at a combined show, it might work...

We here are Feenicks hope that those rope-tension drums based off of the ones used during the Revolutionary times worked ok for you. Since the drums are so old (since they actually are from the Revolutionary times), we've had a lot of trouble with them. That's why we don't use them at all, and we're actually thinking of selling them. If you and TT are interested in buying them, let me know.
