  1. How have the Brass, Analysis and Percussion scores compared to past years with these judges off the field. You would think scores would be higher because they can't get out there and follow the lines. Is there a difference this year?
  2. My worry is how many times can you present the wrong staff; how many times can you present the wrong show design before the members don't trust enough to comeback. Tnen all the top auditioners go elsewhere. This is my worry. There is no more pride in putting on that Cadet jacket. It is now putting on a costume you don't what it is going to be till just before move in. That is my worry!
  3. It may help playing clean but exposure has to hurt - 8 and 9 is harder to play clean than 7.
  4. WOW, that's small for this level corps. They usually march 9 in previous years.
  5. Cavies 7 snares - must have lost 1 or 2. Can't remember how many they had to be begin with.
  6. I have been a fan of The Cadets through Garfield, Cadets of Bergen County, and heavens knows how many other corps changes. I have been both a sponsor through the Maroon and Gold Club and marching member tuition assistance donor. When I traveled to a weekend camp and heard the description of the show to the members, my jaw dropped, and I had an empty feeling in my gut. Why on earth with all the problems with George being run off and all the allegations of abuse toward women would the design team get anywhere near "Taking down a Leader (the queen)" and in any way link this show to women. I say this because this theme ran through the show when described that afternoon. This year's show should have been no where near these subjects. What I felt that afternoon still feels that way when I see and hear about the show. This is my opinion and solely my opinion, but that's how I feel. And by the way, I will continue to support the corps financially.
  7. Corps have been squeezing down the field for 3 or 4 years. Last year SCV had the white poles on the first third of the field.
  8. There was an article about the battery and their caps, and that question was asked. One year they wore BC on their caps (Bergen County). I'm sure someone that marched in the battery can clear this up.
  9. Nope, I haven't either. I had to Google Arya Stark to know who it was.
  10. He lost his left stick so I think he thought it was easier to grab a stick with his Left hand (neighbor's stick bag) rather than switch stick hands and reach in his bag for a stick.
  11. I still have a single seat ticket for both nights available. See section, row and seat number above. Let me know quick! Mitch
  12. I recently had surgery and can't attend the show. I have 3 tickets for each night. The seating is the same for both nights; Excellent seats. Section G; Row 31; Seats 24, 25, and 26. The tickets are $45.00 apiece. I will sell for $40.00 apiece email me at rmitch9@twcny.rr.com. First come first serve. When check clears I will send tickets. Richard Mitchell
  13. Sorry but I can't seem to get full screen view - know where it;s hiding?
  14. How about a mixed language version. To be realistic, The Sharks probably spoke Puerto Rican street-jargon when they were taking among themselves; only spoke street English when talking to The Jets. America could be split between Spanish and English as the two sides (males/females) are going back and forth - certainly would add to the Spanish/American conflicts. Just a thought.
  15. Check out the end of this news clip http://nbc4i.com/2017/12/03/united-airlines-takes-sick-children-on-fantasy-flight-to-north-pole/
  16. So many fantastic endings this year - and so different at the same time!
