I am REALLY new to drum corps, learned of the activity at the start of sophomore year through our instructor's remarks about ratings/scores/other jargon... blah blah blah ( didn't really care for marching band at the time). Went home, saw a couple vids and thought "wait a minute, wait a minute.....why does marching band without woodwinds sound really, really good?" went to my first live show last summer.

Hello, I am planning on auditioning this year for drum corps, and I'm in high school. I am also planning to doing winter drumline at my school. 3 of the 4 winterline performances are on DCI camp dates. I'm wondering if it is reasonable to partially or completely miss 3 camp dates to attend performances. Or should A world class corps' camps take priority. Tell me what I should do guys. thanks

Both corps are great, but I'd have to go with Cavaliers.

Heres a question, If im a senior (which graduation is on May 27th) and move in is on the 26th, and my corps of choice is only a few miles away, do you think they will let me go for a few hours to graduate that night? Thanks
