  1. Now that I have stated my opinion I will continue to put down the hard work of Revolution their administration andthe overall incompetence of their corps director because I didn't like the show Because revolution is the only thing traditional in all of open class you'd think they could get a little more excitement from dinosaurs, any old people really dig revolutions "traditional" style?
  2. lets bring out all the finalists and play a loud encore....with all those brass players it HAS to be loud why not arc them up to play america the beautiful or something to that effect
  3. When I Saw Revo, I was bored to tears..... i dont care how "traditional" they may be
  4. Always been an idea of mine is.... Have sub-circuts of DCI, send the top corps from each circut to "World" Championships (Actual World Champsionships) We could have DCI - American Circut, DCI -Asian Circut, DCI Europe, etc. Probabley a stupid idea, but it is a great sport, and Drum Corps INTERNATIONAL should have corps from everywhere
  5. A good friend of mine participated in I&E....he was an ok player on his instrument with a great heart and work ethic beyond belief....he rehearsed that piece on a lot of his free time....now I missed his performance while in my own but I heard him play later that day.....it was incredible and he placed higher then he thought he ever could....that made him so proud of himself So I&E is bad because it made this player feel good about an individual accomplishment and made him a better player in the hornline.....
  6. I have heard A G hornline and it was the best sound ever god how I wish we still used Them But, to keep drum corps alive, Bb was needed....wish it wasn't but it could be worse.... To me, Bb hornlines still sound like drum corps....wws sound like my crappy marching band
  7. Those little bells in Glassman 07s rifles annoyed me..... And only 1 guard member should count per group so they can hear it and spectators can't
  8. I did drum corps to play loud....so no such thing as to loud But back on subject, the reason we don't like "over mic'd" pits is because it's easy to turn a switch, the hornline works hard to play loud...so we enjoy the talent of a loud hornline more (not saying a pit isn't talented, but they don't control volume with their breathing excersises and long sustains....)
  9. Sorry for the repost, having Internet problems......
  10. Yeah I'm sure WW are on the way... They can't be stupid enough to think that woodwinds would be a GOOD addition I've marched 1 year and I get that
