Is there a support group for people who dislike the cadets?

I believe that Minnesota Brass and the Reading Bucs could very well contend will the corps that dont make it past DCI quarter finals. No offense intended to those corps. Also someone said that top DCA corps are no where near top DCI corps...DUH. DCA practices on weekends (and not all weekends) and yes there are older folks in those corps who cant take the visual demand a DCI corps has which will limit the extend of some DCA corps visual programs. So off of my last statement comparing DCI to DCA is inaccurate. They are 2 separate orginizations, not meant to bash one another, who are around for the same reasons.

Not sure this is thread is going to get your guestion answered. People posting on here are saying they marched junior corps 10 years ago and thought DCA was such and such. DCA has changed VERY much in the last few years. The only way you will get your question answered is to ask age-outs from about the last 3 years. Any opionions from people who marched 5+ years ago will be out of date opionions.

So I know that DCI gives out rings to the championship corps. Does DCA? If so, do members have to pay for them or are they provided by DCA? If not, has there been consideration for them?

yea thats what i meant by tv set...wasnt sure exactly how to describe it seeing as i lost all interest in that show the second someone opened their mouth.

I say do it. I just recently got into drum corps a few years ago and am still in the "learning" process. Buying the fan network helped me learn more about corps and what style they play. Plus its really nice to watch your favorite shows whenever you want! The only downside to it (which is not really that big of a deal) is you cant watch the latest finals until the next years finals... So you have to wait until 2010 finals is over to watch 2009 finals (this way people still buy the finals DVDs) I say $40 for a year of unlimited drum corps is totally worth every penny!

I agree with almost all of this, but I doubt madison will miss finals and Academy will make finals. I just dont see it happening.

I would be happy if they had the high camera angle option (along with the current style they have) Also it would be nice if there was info on the show next to the video as well. Maybe a list of corps and placements for that year, what music the selected corps played, show title.... there is a huge blank space to the right of the video, fill it with useful information!

everyone keeps saying they want more...what do you think a teaser is? I think it has to do with assassins. blood splatter, snipers, sneeking around. probably a story of redemption.
