I think a few Music Ed degrees are run by the Education Department so it's more like a teaching degree with a music (or math or history or etc.) emphasis.
I guess the excitement is how long this newbie field judge would last before being run over. Better position him/her in the far end zone out of trouble.
It may have helped the guards out somewhat to not have a guard judge. I understand some guard members were having some difficulties with the wet equipment. Kudos for carrying on under some adverse circumstances.
