Texas and Allentown were enough for me this year. May try for Finals again next year.

Having gone to several shows live this year, I did notice multiple pit personnel using "In-Ears" as well. I have no idea what is fed into the "In-Ears"...……………..

And those that don't have the $ in their budget like the top level corps will never catch up. A simple baseball analogy will suffice. Back about a decade or so, The Milwaukee Brewers or Tampa Bay (Devil) Rays would have gladly taken on the New York Yankees for even "Salary vs. Salary" I'm sure either team could easily have beat just "A-Rod" on the field.

As I have said in my thread regarding pre-recorded singing. This is no different than a metronome. The tempo never changes on a sample track. "Enhancements are different than singing and controlling the tempo with pre-recorded tracks. I have no problem with the enhancements if the judges are agreeing with it. Where my issue remains is music that is not being performed on the field and when the tempo is being controlled by a "Faux" metronome."

Good chance for this corps to do two shows this week. With a 77.1 last night, who knows where they will top out this week. Could they hit their highest score ever? I don't know what that number is, but glad to see this corps making great strides this year.

One of my former students is part of the "Five that Thrive" Tubas. I am so happy to see these students experiencing drum corps and learning how to push for excellence.
