    Looking at our judges new to the panel tonight is Mulinix(music analysis) , Warren(visual prof), and Cook(music brass). Torchia was guard last night switching to Visual analysis. Czapinski moves to guard and Anderson to GE1. With our new stats site up i looked up our new judges from last night. Cook has never judged Brass this year but has done music analysis for all the corps but Blue Stars and Blue Devils. This is the first show of the season for Mulinix. Ed Warren has seen every corps but Blue Devils.

    You know if they are fighting Troopers Spirit Crossmen Colts for finals i would not have any problem. I like the music and drill. Thing i dont like is the full cape. I think if it was a butt cape it wouldnt be as distracting. Since it goes so low behind their legs they look like stumps from afar.

    i really like the fact you can see what judge scored which show. You can really see how consistent they are or crazy. Curious how did you do the videos on the bottom? May need to make exact words because the blue groups may get thrown into each others.

    Looking at the recaps of yesterdays shows (not counting BK because they werent full panel) Madison is content/achievement scores are almost the same all the way across the board and on the other hand Blue Stars and Boston have about 4 points between the content/achievement. Bostons music is almost equal but their GE and Visual are about 4 points different in each subcaotion. Blue Stars have the most room to grow 5-6 point differences in music while scoring ahead of Boston. Who knows what it will look like with BK on a full panel but it looks like this is the interesting groups to watch.

    You would sit at a music festival for 3 days if you hate the music? I dont like rap music or country so i wont sit for 3 days of those types. Different genres appeal to different people. You clearly said "Life is too short to be bored viewing Madison Scouts." I dont like this show. I have been a Madison fan since I started watching the activity. Just because i dont like one show apparently I need to go read books and not watch FN. We watched a bunch of other shows and we were into them. If you can have an opinion about the show so can I and just because our opinions are different doesnt mean Im wrong and should leave the activity that I love.

    i dont think the Blue stars will be getting 16th especially since they are beating several of the highlighted and a point away from some. Just my opinion.

    going with the blue team. Blue Stars and Blue knights who almost everyone had one of them out of finals in predictions and they are fighting for single digits.

    Im speaking as a teacher that has went to a critique. Judges dont know what they want. Judges will tell you opposite things. They will tell you what you already know. Literally this winter a judge told us that we need to change the uniform to different colors, another said change the pants, and the third said the uniform was great. These were all at the same show. Then one judge literally just told us that the show fell apart (like we didnt know we wrote it).

    completely agree because if they didnt care about scores they would keep the same staff every year.

    From the looks BK wont meet Blue Stars and Boston till San Antonio and meet madison on the 12th at Denver.

    Colts are catching up to the Troopers fast. Troops been in the same score area for almost a week now. They were 5 pts a head 6 days ago now its 2.

    But Bostons been low and about 3 pts lower than last year. They may be fighting the 11-12 battle if they dont clean that crazy drill.

    Bluecoats are .25 behind Crown and beat them the other day and they arent in the group ahead of the rest? I would love to hear why.
