Oh please Poppy, you relegated Crown to 6th or 7th place a month ago. Your prognosticative skills have proven to be severely lacking. In any case no where will you find me predicting anything about Crown's final placement. (well except in the preseason prediction thread )

Not a conspiracy? Then what does "Off" mean? Incompetence? Bias? Come on, let us in on your explanation or theory! We're dying to know!

I think your actual posts speak far more loudly than your late-season denials. As I said, many BAC posters are just blind to their own behavior and I'm hardly the only poster to notice. Anyway it's just another case of DCP living up to it's reputation. So I'll just continue my unabashed HYPE and say Go Crown!

Agreed. This is a situation where you've made your bed and you're darn well gonna lie in it until the season is over.

Clearly not focused on scores or placements. Gotcha. Sorry your earlier posts confused the issue. As I said earlier, there's nothing more exciting for the performers than being on an elevator going up. And the performers are awesome. But the ridiculous behavior of Boston-DCP posters has been .. erhmm... less than that. "Oh we're not hyping. We're destined to win." Oh I could go on and on but there's no point to it as it's pretty clear you're all blind to your own behavior. Anyway congrats to the staff and performers at Boston. They have been a class act and joy to watch.

Lol I think I've mentally edited out that finals night as well. In My Mind Crown won in 2015 and that nonsense never occurred.

They may just be in that spot where almost clean is far more painfully dirty than no where near clean. That doesn't mean they can't push past it. It happens to everyone.

The best thing about CrownDrums is they're just going to keep rolling. There's a nice train of talent flowing from winter to summer. The staff has solidified and I just can't say enough about Travis leading his team in the right direction.

IF the right guys are on the panel at finals, watch out VP and VA. There are judges who've rewarded Crown in those captions all season.

My faith was being sorely tested as well. I mean judges can do what they like -- sheets be ######. If they are demanding flutter-to-a-giant-playground-prop to compete, you have to play the game.

I said at ST that this is just a great drumcorps show where you really don't care if the concept is abstract. It's wonderful to see that being rewarded. Maybe they've derailed the "I must now spend megabucks on props I really don't want to buy and can't resell" train. March well, play well, spin well still generates wonderful drumcorps effect! ps. I still want those guard rewrites!

I think you get the biggest award for Crown flip-flopping this year. Crown keeps changing your mind 🙂

I’m still holding out for some flag rewrites at impact moments. Still feel there is a lot of room for growth there.

Guys forget about SCV for a moment and look at the room they made below them! Nice to see things reading well as they clean up. Crown definitely making a statement tonight.

Haven’t run down the numbers but I’m inclined to agree with this.
