  2. For anyone who's going to babysit this thread all night (I probably am not), you might take a look at TwitterFall to monitor twitter traffic. You set up search terms and then you can just sit and watch for hits. Typical search terms might be #DCI, #DCI2019, #thenameoftheshow (in this case #musiconthemove), each of the corps twitter handles, etc. It's pretty a pretty cool site (you do have to have a twitter handle already registered with twitter to make it all work). Of course if you find a pic or update, you copy/paste it here!!
  3. And sadly very little traffic on the twitter machine. I did find a bunch of bands going to the show so maybe traffic will pick up once the show kicks off!
  4. I suspect what used to be Barry is going to mess with this show. Center of rotation is now nearly due west of Bentonville.
  5. Not gonna jump into what this thread's become BUT not every corps uses CorpsData. Certainly a majority but there are few big players who don't.
  6. Gotta love all the recap "analysis" going on here. So many experts So I'll just remind everyone that: This was NOT a regional panel. Just an ordinary show. No one is "done" with there show. Some shows take longer to get clean than others. All the "numbers" are pretty much window-dressing for a completely subjective opinion. Enjoy the shows!
  7. DCI collects the stats and produces a report that's sent to each corps. Sometimes that report gets passed around.
  8. Well Crown is off to the Walmart show !! Interestingly they are NOT at Bentonville HS (where they've been for quite a number of years) but instead are at Rogers HS.
  9. You write your show for Indy. It's almost a drone shot from the box there. Very high with a steep angle to the field.
  10. It's pretty simple: The guard is extremely well integrated to drill. If you're not high enough, you can lose them. There's space around them but only if your looking down from right vantage point. They're dancing and spinning really well and the work is FAR more effective than the past two years. Chris, Erin, and Lisa are making their presence felt in a really big way.
  11. We're completely speculating on the guard/color thing. No idea if they're really hearing that from the GE judges (somehow I doubt it now -- both the GE judges and the guard judges would hitting them hard for this by now). I think it's just a matter of this show reading really well in big venues and not so well in smaller venues. Crown appears to be positioned very well to make a run at the medals. Not sure anyone is catching Bloo. Gonna be a fun ride 'til the end.
  12. DCP is so quiet. What happened? Did someone blow up Alderan?
  13. Spreads matter but so do the names putting down those spreads. Just sayin'. (And that's why Regionals matter so much because virtually all those folks will appear in Indy)
  14. I wouldn't fall too much in love with the MA and BR numbers. That was probably the one and only show Harper will do. And while Phillips is an Indy judge, he's not afraid to tic errors in Crown's program and then reward them when they (inevitably) clean them. Finally, Crown's percussion is gonna hang this year. So no big spread from percussion.
  15. This show is very much barebones music and drill still. Let's see what the designer's have in store. No doubt it could use some visual punch at impacts.
  16. George you crack me up sometimes. You're so....adaptable.
  17. Flo is the winner. Their servers crapped out under "heavy" load and they still got our money
