Since I am a decrepit old lady and still rocking in my chair I would love to meet you all face to face. It miight surprise you but my old age (cough, cough) does not inhibit my ability to think and make unbiased conclusions. Yes it is true I am a Regiment fan and sometimes my thoughts are clouded and biased, But they are not at the present time. I know I cant change yout minds. If I had the time and space I would be more than glad to discuss Chaos's positions, but I am old fashioned and would like to do it face to face with everything in the open. I probably know more about the corps than all of you combined. You might be surprised at my observations of this years show. Happy Fourth to all of you.

Mr. Chaos or Ms. Chaos as I far as can see Regiment does not do anthing right according to to your observations. What are your observations specifically based on? Maybe you should go on the road with them and obtain your info viewing the real thing. That could prove to be very interesting. Getting your info first hand instead of second and third hand gives more credence to what you think, but then again would that make a difference? Could you see the forest for the trees?

Yes that button does work for all of us. I am truly sorry that you dont get it, but I am not surprised. My hope is that you will enjoy each corps no matter what. Sometimes that ignore button only works if you listen. Enjoy the summer of drum corps as it is a special and unique,activity. I love it dearly as I suppose you do. SUTA

If you are bored move on what you write really reflects who you are, Written words no matter what the intent hurt and last forever. You may think your writing is not hateful, but comes across as such. Think about it. I am a real grammie and I would be so disapponted if one of my grandchildren wrote the things you are writing. Yes I am a Regiment fan, but also a fan of many other corps. I like some and not so enamoured of others, but I respect them, especially the young men and women who believe in them and spend their summers working towards a goal. If you disrespect a corps you are devaluing the men and women who march,. their parents, volunteers. staff and fans

Thank you, You revived my faith in the drum corps community as I could not belive what I was reading. I have been involved in drum corps for forty years and has it come to this. We are reflectng current societies intolerance and using facts that are not documented. I ;love drum the good and the bad. No drum corps is perfect just as we are not. I will get off my soap box and wish you all a great drum corps season. ENJOY IT ALL

I have to jump in here as all of you do not have the facts about the Regiment. I dont know where you get them but they are not true. You meanness has replaced your ability to make informed decisions about the corps. per your last few posts. They have been in a good financial position for the last few years. The food drive is too offset the cost of gasoline. Every corps biggest expense on the road is gas and they are trying to offset the cost. Sounfs like good planning to me. If you dont like the Corps you have the right to your misinformed opinion, but you dont have to spew hate to get your opinion across. Move on and get a life.

For your clarification Rick is the executive director and Dan is the director. There is a diference. Rick is in charge of the organization and Dan runs the corps.

I have to express my concerns as to the status of drum corps currently. My number one issue is that the new judging system does not seem to have made difference in the way shows are scored. It seems to be just as biased as before. It must be terribly hard for all those members of corps see BD get credit many times when it is not due I have never been a fan od BD fan ;mostly because I find that many of the members are rude, whiny when they dont win and overall are disrespectul of other corps. This come from being involved in the activity for over thirty years as a volunteer in the activity. Mine is first hand info as I have heard them cuss other corps out, last year in the finale they squak their horns deliberately during the all corps performance and the list goes on. This is only my opinion and I am sure some will find fault but it is what I have experience over the years. I think Crown should win as their horn line is far superion to BD or anyones.

BD will whine as they did in 08 and go home.

I dont twitter. Its my age you know and I wish I was a fifteen year old female again. I was not refering to any one corps just hoping youu would mention each corps with some recognition. Dont make assumptions about what I posted. You all have a right to your opinion as do I. You know age does count for something. Thought would just throw that in. I am a drum corps grammie.

No I never post but have been involved with drum corps for 25 years. I am just an old lady that likes to see the kids get credit for what they do.

I have to make an observation on what is being posted. I find it disconcerting that you post mainly on the corps that you like. It is not fair to the other corps when you do this. At least be fair to each corps and try to keep the biasis at a dull roar. The kids work to hard to not be recognized for what they work so hard for.
