  1. Has anyone been having fan network issues? I can't seem to get the videos to work on my phone or computer. It says the server rejected the connection...any troubleshooting tips? Thanks!
  2. Another showing of the program tonight at 8 est @http://yea.org/2014-jtown2
  3. Let's see, a show about presidents but with no words or anything to explain...makes sense. Not...
  4. I encourage you to listen to A Lincoln Portrait. All of the narration except that at the very beginning is all in it (in the Lincoln section)
  5. I'm sure Mr. Hopkins and Mr. Sacktig wouldn't block out the corps for no reason.
  6. And the narration (for the Lincoln section) is from the source music. It wouldn't make sense without it necessairly.
  7. Again, fair enough, but the performers are being featured and the brass amd drums were just standing still...it could mean more ge for cadets though.
  8. Fair enough, but do keep in mind that it blocks as much as if it were just the pit as the performers are probably around that height and maybe even taller.
  9. Does anyone else find these pointless? Corps have cleaned drill without them for years and by the looks of it, and set of those things like the Cavies have is an waste of one person's tour fees.
  10. For whoever is complaining about not seeing the show because of the stage, keep in mind it's literally only 6 feet tall. It won't hinder the view that much if at all.
  11. Is it still considered "stupid narration" if the source music has it in there (i.e. Cadets and "A Lincoln Portrait" this year)? I think then it's very acceptable because that piece is great.
  12. Came across this camp video on YouTube today...thought I'd pass it along... EDIT: This one too...love the music in this one!
  13. OP, Cadets played Swing Swing Swing as one of their encore tunes this year. It's arranged by Jay Bocook and they also played it in their '95(?) show. The piece is by John Williams from the movie "1941". Hope that helps! EDIT: Added the Cadets playing it at YEAllentown! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2qI7yDsTB8
  14. I'll just leave this here.http://www.yea.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=22670&news_iv_ctrl=1002 Also Cadets doing Copland again? YES PLEASE.
