  1. I cannot begin to tell you how broken hearted I am. Bill was truly an inspiration and guiding light for all the girls who passed through the ranks of the Bon Bons. He will be missed by us more than anyone can imagine.
  2. Cabs Alumni have it on our schedule for August 11. We are in Scranton on the 18th.
  3. The groups that perform at GAS must be members of GAS. The GAS Reunion is being held in Gettysburg this year. You got the wrong war, Andy.
  4. He was recently on People's Court and the Judge told him she wanted to slap the grin off his face.
  5. The Bon Bon Chorus is less than 2 hours away and we have five members who come up from the Baltimore area, including a 19 year old. We only perform at drum corps functions and have a great time as anyone who has ever been at a GAS can attest to. If she is interested, let me know.
  6. Since no one knows him, I'll do the honors. It is Bernie O'Connor. And a Happy Belated Birthday, Nanci.
  7. I will miss his smile. He was never without it.
  8. No Bon Bon every passed out. We weren't allowed to. No kidding. We were told we were not allowed to pass out.
  9. The Audubon girls would make bets on whether Jomba would make it to the finish line or fall somewhere between the 30 and the finish line.
  10. I would personally like to thank you and all of the Defenders for your gracious hospitality yesterday. It was appreciated by everyone in Cabs Alumni. This is just one of the things that makes alumni corps so special to those of us who are fortunate enough to be a part of one. Thank you, Defenders.
  11. He's been known to hang out with Bob, Carol and Alice.
  12. Thank you, Tony. At my age they are no longer happy.
  13. No, I was a Bon Bon. I knew most of the Lucy guys though. I checked with my husband, who was in Lucy's and he said the one you are thinking about is Andrew Campione. He is the one in the picture you referred to.
  14. Andrew "McCann" Campione was Tom's son. Tom McCann was director. Henry Viera was the one that left to go to Boston. I'll find out from Duke who the Tom was.
  15. What can I tell you, we goodie-two-shoes Bon Bons loved the bad boys.
  16. One of the nicest people I know and a true gentleman.
  17. The Joseph Bernert in the WDCHOF is Joe, Sr. The picture is of Joe, Jr.
  18. I discerned that because I'm the one who submitted the picture. There were no females in senior corps but there were in junior. The guy on the right, who is actually in the middle, is flanked by the uniforms of the two corps he is most famous for teaching. The female is the one who was the actual player of the horn.
  19. The other hand in the picture is female. Is there something you want to tell us, Ken?
