Just out of curiosity, what do each corps corps necklace's look like, DCI, world, open and DCA

Is it still up in the air that C2 is gonna get the Black ones?

Reading has had their uniforms since what? 08? I think its time for them to sport a more contemporary look. The biggest factor I see in uniform change is how old they are, Raiders have theirs since they won d3 in 05. White Sabers have had those since they first went to DCA. Pioneer looks ok, its just I feel if they want a shot at preforming on Friday at Indy, they need a more contemporary look. My band has had their threads for almost 20 years, so now the town has no choice but to get new ones. When I was at Foxboro and I saw Surf come out with those, I thought they looked hideous. People wouldn't have thought what they thought about surf if they had come out with a better look.

Not sure if this is gonna get put back into the 2016 Uniform thread. but I was thinking that there are some corps this year that really need some new threads, some corps that come to mind are: Raiders, Pioneer, Jersey Surf, Oregon Crusaders, Reading, and White Sabers. Just my opinion but some of these corps I think have been wearing them for a while and need a change.

Another one of my stupid questions but I want to show my Psychology class a drum corps show since it is our last class. Anyone know of any shows that have to do with it?

Listened to some of the source music. Have to say I love all of it. Really excited for phantom this year.

I listened to the opener at the January camp, it sounds good, but lets not forget that Cadets will play it well in the gym but when it gets out to the field....it might not be the same.

An opener I really love is Blue Stars 04. Maybe it is because I am a huge anime fan but it just sounds so awesome to me.

I like option B, I don't think the black uniforms look good in general. I am not opposed to the black ones if it is only way for them to get new uniforms but it would nice to see C2 put out an original design made just for them.

Um...what do you mean by this, because I ask questions on the fourms? This was my first year in drum corps and I am trying to find out more about it.

I was having this talk with one of my friends and he was saying how it really isn't all age drum and bugle corps. I am very new to this activty but DCA is supposed to be all age and C2 isn't that. I understand that the main point of C2 is to give kids who cannot tour with cadets the cadet experience, but I still think that they should be open to all ages.

They don't always know it at our shows because they are not always up to date with where the hurricanes are practicing.

I'd like to see them whip out some new world this year, that would be good to play considering what just happened with them and the winter we just had, but maybe some Shostakovitch too. This year needs to be a an improvement from last year especially because it is a big anniversary year for them.

Pines is definitely a more different selection than what cadets have been done. Having played pines before it may work well as an opener for a journey type of show. Hopefully they can arrange it well.

They really should get rid of the age limit this year. It doesn't look good on them, wish the rest of the DCA directors weren't so scared of Hopkins.

Maybe they will put out a huge corps like Madison did last year for the Macy's parade? That would be good to see.
