From what I understand, the necklace and the keepsake are two different things. At Crown, they get the bead at the end of spring training. I think they usually get to keep the mirror from the uniform and the plume -- don't know what they'll do this year, since they have neither. And one corps, don't remember who, gives members a penny with a hole in the middle for their necklace -- they sold replicas on their souvie truck last year.

He is also on the contra line. He is a voice performance major, however.

I hope they do have it available for viewing later. My kid is a mm with Crown, so I will most definitely be at GWU in person on Sunday, no way would I miss out on seeing him off for his rookie season tour. And I will also be going to the theater event to see Crown - and the other corps - on the big screen. But I would like to see what the FN broadcast was like.
