Ahhh, I see it now. But this phenomenon of horns not playing for three minutes or more of a show is not too uncommon. But when you add a full blown drum feature, it highlights the issue. I'll take the drum feature ... it is both a throwback and forward looking at the same time ... and really cool.

Although at Broken Arrow they were third in brass, only .2 from BD for second. But yes, they still need to clean, as does everyone.

Well, time does seem to fly with this show ...

I marched my age out year with the corps I marched with because they were a crowd favorite. I would march Bloo this year if I was young enough for the same reason. Great show, Bloo! I am 100% in your corner!

It does seem like things have spiraled. Back to Bluecoats ... the live reports I have heard about tonight's run have been very positive, so whether Bloo finishes first or fifth, the crowd was entertained!

To be honest, I think the singer sings well ... the problem is the design choice. Why is she there upstaging that hornline? She would have to be Idina Menzel to justify the design choice.
