  1. our theater got loudest for sully's interveiw....as well as my self and others saying our favorite sully quotes
  2. I am probably getting myself into a huge mess here, but, I'm gonna do it anyway. To the former members of Memphis Sound. I would suggest talking with the new Director for yourselves. Sometimes there are reasons for transitions that you may not know of. Take it from a former member of two corps that have undergone massive moves, and administration changes, some of you may not get over it and that is ok. But, the longer you don't support the more some of your traditions will be lost to newer members. Also, I feel that any Alumni of any corps should support, because any changes that happen where not the decision's of the kids. Isn't that what drum corps is about sporting the youth? Alumni are what keep organization's strong and rich in tradition. If you are not around then your corps WILL loose their identity( name change or not ). BTW this is my own opinion, just thought someone would like to hear it.
  3. this is the funniest thing i have seen in a while
  4. Oh my god....I could not help but look at this.......sad thing is one of these days it will be true
  5. Ok, so I've been around drum corps for awhile but, one question still lingers. when setting a drum lines drum heights some corps and marching bands(can't leave them out of this argument) try to get the drums level across the line but, that makes taller to shorter players hands and arms different , IMO producing different sound quality's. But, others set them to the player, this again in my opinion would produce better sound quality or at least look like the same technique. I guess there is no right or wrong answer just looking for some other opinions
  6. I can't belive I'm about to post this....in 2004 like a week before a December camp i ended up with a twisted testicle, (while I was in the gym training for tour, and weightlifting team is when i think it happened) it had to be removed I missed the camp due to recovery but was back in January in the basics block. It has defiantly made for some interesting nicknames along the way as well.
  7. "Like you said Hunt, it may take some time to show up, but everyone in TX wants the best for the corps, and so do all of the proud alumni, especially this one...." I'll say Aye to that pirate and vinny
  8. I tried to catch the rehearsal at poinciana bcause i know Doug B. from my high school days and john H from my days at teal. But, as luck would have it the Man(work) holds ya down. showed up at like 8:15 P.m on sat but you guys were already done.
  9. This was cool. I was running a sound board for a rock festival a few weekends ago, and while changing a band out on stage I realized that one of there members had on a maltese "cross necklace".(it looked just like the ones that members of the crossmen have, I know because I have one too) I asked if he had marched and he said yeah 2000-2002 and so had another member of the band. It was even cooler because this band had made it to the semi-finals on NBC's America's Got Talent. So thats something for the CAA. more people to add to the list of Crossmen who have been on T.V.,.........BONES
