This, only change I could see would be Crown and SCV switching. I think everyone will be chasing BD until Atlanta at the earliest.

I think that ending reprise section is a bit too brief right now (especially with the pushed tempo), but the final ending will definitely milk it all a lot more and have audiences up before the end. They have to really work more on connecting with the crowd and selling the show though, that's their biggest hurdle at this point. They have the talent and vehicle to push all the way to another ring.

Prelude is the preshow, the opener is where the "run out from prop and do the dance routine" happens. It's very very close to last year in structure and effect, but I like this year more, though I'm biased because I really love the source music.

Can't fathom any world in which Bloo beats BD in music tonight. Bloo have a lot of issues syncing their odd time stuff and their soloists are not on the same level as BD's, and it should impact a lot with both shows leaning so heavily on them.

"Burn the witch" is a common enough phrase in history and culture for almost everyone to be familiar with it, on top of it being a great GE effect. "Hang the witch" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Who are you preaching to? Noone has mentioned vocals or singing for pages. We've all seen this spelled out a million times.

They did not march anywhere near the whole show at 210. Crown 2012 was more demanding than BD 2013. Not downplaying anything BD does, I love them. Speaking of demand, Bloo's show last year was built on a lot of easy drill mixed with prop effects. Just watch the tuba's in the back half of the show, they literally march around the outside of the field and back, and that's it. Seriously some of the easiest drill to ever win a championship, but it was still an entertaining program that generated a ton of GE, and that's what matters.

The only two times they've scored in the 2 point range was when they were the only corps below Crown, not with anyone else in the mix. Scores will be a lot tighter come SA and I don't expect BAC to stay in the 2 point range of the top corps (BD, Crown, or whoever else that may be). I would love to be wrong, really like BAC and their program, but I just think that's the reality of the numbers. Not every dissenting opinion is driven by some fan bias, because I'm a fan of both.

Morale is pretty good between winning over a lot of the naysayers and scoring well. I wouldn't worry about the kids, they're hungry and proud of what they're doing.

BD has found a formula that both scores really well while also entertaining general audiences, which is something they really struggled with around 2012-2013. They have impeccable technique and make their stuff look effortless, which is a big part of why so many people incorrectly claim what they do is so easy.

Been saying all summer that Bloo has to get a lot cleaner to compete this year. They can't ride GE, hype, and energy if they don't get cleaner than last year. The rest of the top 4 has too much to hold off if they don't get tighter musically and a lot cleaner visually.

Some of the best screamers ever. Chills in the ballad and closer every time.

Not wonky at all, but don't expect them to remain that close when the field tightens up.
