I feel kind of bad about that. We were just goofin’. Oh well.

They had a big metal water cooler which wasn’t nearly enough for 128 people plus staff. By the time the water was almost gone, bugs had accumulated at the bottom. I remember being so thirty that I drank the remaining water, bugs and all.

We can laugh about it now. The statute of limitations has expired. 😂

That was true in my first corps in the early ‘70’s but I marched with a lot of music majors in the late ‘70’s.
