  1. The Cadets are using Pepwear for all merch sales (much like they have been for USBands for quite some time) and have nothing to do with the sales tents or whatever is set up at the shows. Pepwear also sells merch for those corps you mentioned as well. I don't know of any "partnership". I think the corps do it to alleviate the hassles of designing, producing and moving all that merch and associated tents, scanners, wifi sales stuff all around. Plus it frees up staff. A side benefit is that Pepwear is big...and has the horsepower to ramp up production if needed and will probably not get into backorders and sorting thru boxes in Allentown like YEA! used to do.
  2. Did anyone notice at the end of the Demoulin Cadets commercials last night on FLO...there was a tasty morsel shown briefly
  3. Thanks Irving...love your recaps and first-hand impressions. Keep 'em coming. CVA shirt-wearer
  4. I know right? I helped assemble them on the field at camp down at Keith Valley...Scott L was standing on one like he was on Pride Rock! Way cool!
  5. Me too...contemplating the 7.5 hour drive next week...
  6. 45 minutes from my house...gee, let me think...
  7. History night at camp this weekend...😀
  8. "Jacob is a Barber" has been bumped? 🙂
  9. Isn't this actually the first time that the 154 members will be competing in the West Coast ?
  10. And we wonder why corps don't release show details early. I'm just going to go to ST, watch this thing develop, and enjoy. I read the description of the show once and won't again, because in the end it's what I see and hear on the field that matters to me.
  11. 50 donors reached...unlocked brass recording on cadets.org
  12. This! I have a feeling we'll be learning a lot very soon. Cadets alum, vols and fans are excited and the counts will rise quickly...I'll be one of them!
  13. "Uniforms on site" was a quick picture view on the overhead screen, from what I was told. I left before the meeting. Props were definitely there.
  14. Spent part of two days there and the atmosphere is electric. Show and tell was crowded and the corps didn't disappoint. It's good to have the kids and staff this excited...
  15. Me too, with wife and 2 kids, hopefully. This one is close to home so we can't stay away...
  16. muck·et·y-muck /ˌməkədēˈmək/ noun INFORMAL•NORTH AMERICAN noun: muckamuck; plural noun: muckamucks; noun: mucky-muck; plural noun: mucky-mucks a person of great importance or self-importance. "a big Hollywood muckety-muck" Origin mid 19th century: from Chinook Jargon, shortening of high muck-a-muck.
  17. Word from the muckety-mucks on the 2019 uniform is that we'll instantly know they are the Cadets...that's a good thing.
  18. Latest development... http://www.wfmz.com/news/lehigh-valley/george-hopkins-yea-settle-civil-suit-regarding-compensation/996003334
  19. I listened to her speak at last camp too...with some other volunteers and staff...and I agree. Her experience is a welcome addition.
  20. This. I was pleasantly surprised by what I heard on Sunday afternoon...fierce is a very good description!
  21. Crazy good, if you ask me. Cadets are doing exactly what they needed to do this year, and kudos to Mandarins for stepping up their game. It's been the same group at the top for so long, Mandarins, SOA etc are just what we needed right now. BD, SCV, Bloo et al should watch their rear view mirrors. I'm excited for the future, thunderous goo and unitumes notwithstanding.
