Absolutely agree. Saw them in A-Town last night and they were lights out (except for a little pit blip in the ballad). It is all coming together. And yes... there are a core of true believers and then we get some who just come to rain on our parade. Well... the sun is out and the GE gods have answered our prayers to give credit where credit is do. This is going to be an awesome week!

Remember that time when everyone was coming onto this thread to talk about how it was too bad that Crown was looking like a sixth place corps... or the time they said what do you want 5th place and Ott or 3rd place... yea? Me too. And guess what. We are not going to have that talk here any more. That is one big fat hairy number tonight. They have forced their way into the conversation not just for a medal... but for ANY medal. Yes... they are a long shot to win but I would not put it past this group (as I have said all year) to rise to the occasion. I believe this was removed prior to Atlanta... I miss it also but understand the need to remove it. When the corps gets to that section I still hear that part it in my head.

But you ignored the fact that Crown beat them in visual and there are a number of other corps that need to be fit in within some of the captions. This is the best Crown ensemble and music book in years and I for one and excited about who they are doing and how they will finish. Anyone who has spent any time with this corps will tell you this is a special group of members and anyone thinks they will not fight hard to the very end to be the best version of Crown they can be they are sadly mistaken.

I agree... I do not think they are being given credit GE wise for what they are doing up to this point and my hope is this will change... maybe not as much as I would like but certainly closer to the top group.

Unfortunately... after this evening it is. highly unlikely there will ever be another show at this venue (unless they switch to turf which is not what MLS plays on).

I agree but still think there is a chance, albeit remote, for them to catch SCV that is my heart... my head says they win Ott, Music and 4th unless the GE gods come to their senses.

MetLife may be a better choice. The venue was great earlier this month. Would be better for TOC than just the first early season show. Or maybe the Linc?
