I think we've made progress in not having a thread get shut down because of differences in opinions. Small steps....small steps.

I've been there as well. It was quite an experience. It does have some breathtaking scenery.

We are behind the US on vaccine distribution because we do not have our own factories that produce any vaccines and rely on ordering from other countries. Our Provincial government decided 4 months was OK so more people can at least get the first dose as soon as possible. As a result, we now have variants rapidly spreading in some areas. One gym alone in Quebec City is responsible for the infection of 400+ people because guidelines were not followed and people got infected with the new variants.

There is something about watching her reactions to past years that makes me appreciate them even more - as if I was watching them from a different perspective. For example, when living in an apartment block, men should not pee standing up past 10:00 pm to avoid disturbing neighbors. You should also never flush your toilet past 10:00 pm as it might also disturb the neighbors.
