I just hope Louisiana Stars comes back so I can audition. Isn't looking like it though. They've been silent for nearly a year now.

I know alumni, and can confirm that Stars is not marching this year. They couldn't find a new director. They plan to be back in 2024.

Ok, gonna take a stab... BAC: They are well set up for a great year, I think they have a good shot at the title BD: I can't see them placing lower than this. Bloo: I'm a fan, don't judge Cadets: I think they have a good chance this year with SCV gone to shoot up a bit. This place might go to Crown, I feel like the two corps are in about the same place going into next season Carolina Crown: see above Phantom Regiment/Blue Stars: They both had a strong year. We'll see ' The Cavaliers Mandarins Troopers: Don't question it, just accept it as the truth Blue Knights Colts

I am saddened by this news. One of the greatest corps, and one of the most historic. Santa Clara holds the honor of the only corps to be a finalist in all 50 seasons of DCI. That streak will be broken, I suppose. This has happened before though. Early 80's Bloo was inactive for two separate years because of money problems, and they made it through that. Praying that SCV can do the same.

Bloo '14 second to last movement- no clue what it's called but I love the low brass lines that are reprised just before the "tilt" moment Bloo '22- "Taizo", the opener. Love this song, favorite part is the pit rolls up the keyboard into the chords and then the big brass hit. So crispy. Edit: Mmm, also Crown '11 opener, from Bohemian Rhapsody. Hits you so hard, and it's just so beautiful.

Ah, yes please! We need (or at least i want :P) another corps here in LA. Name's pretty cool too. But if I were to name a drum corps, they would be the Silver.
