  1. One thing I have to say I love about your shows--almost always at least one piece of music I go...hmmmm I dont know this, sounds interesting..must listen!
  2. Ironically the begining of this thread explains it LOL there was some confusion last summer season as we were moving from Bowling Green back to Montreal. Bowling Green was technichally listed as CLASS finals, but due to the confusion, we did a JOINT CLASS finals with all kinds of cool tech streaming events etc. Polaris got Silver.
  3. Funnier if you had won it in the last few seasons lol as I recall FANFARE has gone to CLASS on more than one occasion! :-)
  4. Here are the programs for this seasons Knight Org Corps! The Knights-For Whom My Heart Beats what would you do if you only had 24 hours with the one you loved? Our story follows the tail of two people who meet and fall in love knowing they only have 24 hours together. What will they do, how will they enjoy the moments they have and how will it end? Suite Bergamasque-Prelude by Claude Debussy Dawn’s First Embrace/Obelia by Sean O’Boyle Cavalleria rusticana-Intermezzo by Pietro Mascgani Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture by Tchaikovsky Nocturne in E Flat by Chopin/Vaga Luna by Bellini /Song to the Moon by Antonin Dvorak Liebestod by Richard Wagner Live by Celine Dion/Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture reprise by Tchaikovsky Les Blanc Chevalier-Road to Destruction Les Blanc Chevalier gives us a sad look of what will happen to Mother Earth if we dont learn to take better care of her and ourselves. Earth Song by Michael Jackson And the Earth Trembled by Steven Reineke Mysterium by Alexander Scriaban Apocalypse by Gian Carlo Menotti Mother Earth from Planet Earth Symphony by Johan de Meij Cape Cod Regiment-Beautiful The Carole King Musical Overture/So Far Away 1650 Broadway Medley Some kind of Wonderful/Happy Days are Here Again/Will You Love Me Tomorrow On Broadway/You’ve Lost That Feeling/One Fine Day You’ve Gotta Friend/A Natural Woman/Beautiful/I Feel The Earth Move
  5. Man we must have wanted to keep the sword bad! Turned around from 24th to 4th in just a few days!
  6. Welcome to DCPI! Always great to have another CLASS corps around beating up on FANFARE!!!
  7. Oh we know what day it is! Let it begin! Good luck to all knight Org corps, CLASS Corps and every corps willing to put it all out there! We've kept our shows a secret right up till show time! Pretty incredible!
  8. sorry i was inactive and didnt see the vote--been busy at camp getting my kids ready to take it all! HOWEVER I applaud directors in making the right decision--i think it was a change that would have impacted the live season too much. The thrill of the live season is trying to keep up with every change and shift in the corps all season long and GUESSING where they will end up--not knowing. Thank you for having the vote Matt--love the creativity, just dont love the impact it would have had! Maybe we cab figure out an off season spice up!
  9. I am in an even bigger minority--i think even at 100 its a great price and I have very few complaints. Most years I spend thousands on travel and tickets to get to the big shows. I dont have many local ones, a few in Mass and NH which I will attend, but to get anything larger were talking gas, travel, hotel, tickets. $100 for a product that for me has worked pretty darn well to get me to a lot of shows I wouldn't otherwise be able to attend. Last year add finals, yeah I was a happier camper and my only complaint was not showing Crwon encore (which I think they learned from). Am i going to stop going to finals? NO. Will i go every year now that I have this option? no. Nothing beats drum corps live, hard to argue that, but this is a huge next best thing. IN years I have to cut back, this keeps me connected. I may be dating myself but compared to the years that as "just a fan" I had to call to get score updates and wait until the holidays to see any shows on PBS, I'll gladly take the fan network!
  10. hmmmm interesting...so guessing/luck could be gone if one decided to
  11. what are the captions for previous seasons that are showing? error or something crazy
  12. I just moved last week and the movers pulled my trophies out and said wow--your good at something LOL yes--yes I am LOL

  14. I would like to ask everyone--what are the thoughts of bringing back REAL trophies once again? I have several if you want to see pics!!! :) I am willing to research cost of trophies, cost of delivery and contribute as well as running fundraising if there is interest. I will try to make it as economical, yet cool as possible. I was considering having CLASS sponsor this, but I want it ti be EVERYONE's trophy, so am asking for your input!
  15. great season everyone! We are very proud with our bronze and silver for Cape Cod Regiment and The Knights! we didnt expect it and were very proud of our highest placing in many seasons! Congrats to Buckeye Brass for the first WORLD TITLE and our old pals Star of Jupiter for the bronze, totally didnt think we could catch you! Congrats also to Texas Zephyrs and Cross!
  16. looking forward to the pizza and finals live!!!
  17. I now have scores!!! I apologize to the head judge who had my assistant director flipping out at him...he was taken to the hospital and will be going under psychiatric evaluation! We knew you would rectify things quickly as always!
  18. The Knights were THRILLED to take another trip to the Southern Star Cup and challenge our good friends Star of Jupiter, Star of Hawaii and Cross! as always across all three divisions it was a great show! The Knights were happy to take another step up in their show and win--but the night is always so much more than the trophy at the Southern Star Cup! In the other part of the south, Brighthouse Network Stadium in Orlando FL hosts the Southern Star Cup, which will feature a matchup between title hopefuls Star of Jupiter, Roselle Park Conquistadors and The Knights.
  19. Knights took the day off to get ready for regional s today and we think it was an excellent idea!!! lets see
  20. kind of makes me sad to see someone say this about Cavies. They used to be such a classical powerhouse and thats when I loved them! I would be so happy to see them return to some classical roots.
  21. hopefully the changes in our designs either stuck with the kids tonight or will over the next few shows.
