Contestants per the rules have to be at least 18 by Jan 3, 2008 Instruments they are looking for are: Strings (Viola, Violin, Cello, Upright (double) Bass); Woodwinds (Bassoon, Clarinet, Flute/Piccolo, Oboe, Soprano/Alto/Tenor/Baritone Saxophone); and Brass (Trombone, Trumpet/Flugelhorn, French Horn).

Hey Everyone! Thought this would be a really neat opportunity for drum corps members, fans, friends and musicians. This Friday is going to be the culmination of an incredible effort of folks who wouldn't let this chance pass them by. When The New Velvet Knights march onto the field, if you should be lucky enough to be in that audience, scream your heads off, throw your children in the air and most of all sit back and enjoy because what you will be seeing will be a moment that is crystal and frozen in time in which some amazing people got together and said they wanted their corps back and did what everyone thought would be impossible-they brought it back. I still have to look twice and wonder how this wonderful thing happened. And the only conclusion I can think of is that there were people out there who refused to let a good thing go when they knew how much happiness it gave the fans and the alumni and everybody in between. And in a nutshell, that's 2COOL, that's love. That's love.

i like coca cola pez. it is very very good. monkeys are mean-spirited under pressure. they don't like to make rash decisions. besides it is year of the pig not the monkey. hey - isn't canned spam made of pigs? will there be any ninjas on the field? :sshh:

I love those old uniforms! They make the corps look incredibly smart, polished, tall, not to mention sharp! Excellent decision Mr. Hopkins! KUDOS!!! Cannot wait to see them march out on the field this year!

And they added one extra special touch and I hope it made the video. At the end all of the demons surround a member (a mellophone) at the end of the chevron and they escort him off the field into h#ll! It is a really subtle yet classy touch. In the end, She is an angel, Faust is in between worlds, and the demons got another "lost soul" So good triumphs and evil triumphs as well. It was the perfect ending to an awesome summer! Also I am not sure if this happened in Atlanta or not....There was a lot of fabric! There is triangular fabric in the beginning. And also the demons' flags look singed at one point. There's a lot of cool details to watch out for - And in the resurrection scene when they change the sashes from glittering silver to white - so the corps is ghostly. There is a lot of eye candy.

If you mean when they killed Marge, here it is: That too, but what really impressed me was when they kidnapped a Regiment member on Finals night - at the point of the Chevron the demons actually surrounded a member (I want to say a euphonium?) and they escorted him off the field (perhaps to the Underworld?)

I really liked Crown's flower - it was visually stunning And Regiment's trinity symbol, and when the demons kidnapped another soul And BD's puppetmaster And Cavies conveyor belts And SCV's Mr. Moto

Too loud? From what I heard LOUD IS GOOD. And should we be in your part of town, I would love to watch your corps. And you will land a good gig - I am sure of it. And when you do please postmark two tickets to us. When they announced that BD got 3rd, Chris and I turned and looked at each other. We didn't yell, we didn't jump up and down. We just stood there kind of glassy eyed watching those grins right above those silver chains on all of our Regiment "kids" It was really unbelievable.

Very eloquent Nikk - I really wish you were at finals this year. PR played their hearts out. I wish you were there to see the grins on some of those faces! This corps literally improved every day. And all the love we gave them, they gave right back to us.

I toured with Regiment for one week. I love this costume - it is so very ultra masculine yet almost sadistic looking - which is how demons should look. I got to know the members of the corps very well and I must say these were some of the most polite demons I have ever met. They eat very well and in fact they devoured the banana pudding that we served them. They are a great bunch of guys. Someone asked what the ladies were wearing - They are in pink, yellow and blue unitards and they look very pretty from the stands.
