  1. Dave, I remember our corps director Carmen Cirlincione talking fondly about your mom and dad and the impact they had with the Garden State Circuit. Good days and good times back then!

  5. The only thing keeping me from wearing the yellow suit is the little matter of 3000 mile comute one way from Spokane, Wa to lovely Bayonne....

  7. The Gray matter is a bit fuzzy on the happenings back then, but I can remember in 1978 we were for some reason or another always involved in fights that year. Went to Lynn, Mass for the world open and qhilw or guard was practicing some locals from the area started harassing them, they took off after the rest of the corps showed up. Then at DCI east we were staying at Muhlenberg College and somelocals tried to mix it up with us on the college grounds, well they were a bit outnumbered in that one too. Also, GSC Championships, our corps won championships that year and a few guys from our corps and another had a little meeting in the parking lot.. Just a weird year that year....
  8. Yeah, you could tell that he was true to his corps and loved every kid who marched with them, a real classy guy who is missed in many ways..
  9. What was the name of Pepe Notaro's corps from connecticut? I for the life of me cannot remember, But I remember that the girls were a talented and good looking too!
  10. I remember a GSC show in 1974 or so, the Monarchs had a pretty good corps that year, We were standing in retreat waiting for the scores and they went corps by corps. I remember the Monarchs coming in second and watching Jack Taylor have acome apart. After everyone was off the field, all the corps were mingling around in the parking lot and I remember Jack taking the trophy and throwing it in the river next to the parking lot in discust as his corps came in 2nd...
  11. Garden State Circuit, one that in my opinion fielded many top corps' some that went on to national prominence, some that stayed in the circuit.. Too bad GSC is no longer..

  13. I dont know if Sean's dad taught the monarchs, but I know that he was involved with teaching my corps the Patriots...
