  1. yeah but til 15 is 4 lines all the way up, it takes forever :P
  2. the biggest problem DCA faces is trying to expand too fast given the limited resources it has to work with. DCA does not have the infrastructure to just say "poof" and make it happen. think about it....6 years ago, this was barely an issue. give it time dude.
  3. well, the biggest issue is in the mindset of people in..well...according to many, one region in particular. DCi never showed judging bias towards any region, and some feel that there is a bias in DCA. looking at the placements last year, i'd disagree
  4. i loved 04, but one thing, added sometime after the reading show, IMO, killed it. that pause before the big slow push in the last number just sucked all forward momentum from it. man, i saw it at Reading and i thought game on...this is. a month later at Kingston and i was like 'oh ####". still a ###### good show, but that one pause dropped it several notches in my book. my top faves: 76 77 84 85 94 95 96 97 03
  5. um.....you have enough issues not throwing things into the audience. keep focused on that please :P
  6. heyman you can walk to taco bell from your place, so quit complaining
  7. Fran likes Natty Bo, i wouldn't call him a connesuir :P
  8. SCV's helicopter for sure. also BD 95 and Madison 97. also a nod for the siren in Suncoast 84 leading into the closer...with that and the yelling, you felt like it was a full fledged 60's riot
  9. yeah go out the hotel and go up to old 15...turn right.....and for beer i'll finish the directions :P
  10. very wise words, but it doesnt seem to be accepted by all...and that's the shame
  11. the funny thing is the older guys are the ones who pushed for it. maybe they did run out of ideas...so step aside and let youngins take a crack
  12. not at all. you took an accoustic activity and made design scoring well dependant on amplification. ####, give hockey players basketballs too
  13. well said. i also wonder why it is that you hear the music ge talk about how the music relates to the visual, but rarely do you hear the visual talk about how things fit the music.
  14. not just 13-21...go back in time and you had 13-25 too. faves: 88 Crossmen 88 Dutch Boy 87 Crossmen 90 Boston 90 Magic 83 Troopers 79 Crossmen 77 Etobicoke 82 Suncoast 94VK 93 VK 99 Southwind 00 Southwind i am sure i am missing some
  15. Genny is refered to as Rochester River Water
  16. Yeah Scott so as to being sold out, i would imagine it's close.
  17. for beer, i can dive you door to door directions to Jim's
  18. i agree with a lot of what you said except one thing........ the most diehard fans are also the ones most resistant to change. after doing a lot of polling last year when the possibility of NC finals came up, the most diehard fans were the ones who were most against it. perfect example...look at amps/singing into a mic in DCI....the most diehard of em all were the biggest complainers.
  19. exactly. as the regions continue to grow and build up a base, things will change.
  20. i wont disagree. I know from 88-91 they had a show or two in the midwest. Sun went in 88, Shore went in 89 and Empire went in 91. luckily last year Hurcs, Bucs and Bush went to NC, plus Renegades flew in. give it time...this too will change i think as DCA continues to grow.
  21. some very creative #### is happening in the standstills. let's see who would you know.... CD is still a milbrand affair....jim's oldest runs the line. Todd Seville is helping Steve at CV. Lebanon is run by Donnie Lee's youngest son Greg. Carlisle has Swerv, Prato, my wife, Gut and others you wouldnt know. MBurg has me, Chris Pagotto and Jim Weaver...as well as Deb and jamie Washburn's son Jared.
  22. yeah but remember if you only go where they want you to when they want you to, then you arent giving a full read. not that you did, but they way you worded it above kinda sounded that way
