  1. Ray, Don't miss the spot on your shirt !!! Definitely FUNNY
  2. I bought mine last year from the website... might have to buy another---I'm wearing it out. I watched the show at Camp Randall Stadium that night, from the press box.. Not a dry eye was seen during Ice Castles Front. WHAT A BLAST!!!! I hope you guys had as much fun that night as I do everytime we play before a crowd. RUMP
  3. Frank... It was perfectly timed... Just what we needed to pump us up! Thanks for the memory!! Also thanks for the great review...pearll Wait till Ra cha cha cha RUMP

  8. Do you notice that there is not a email or mailing address on the website for DCA.. Or did I miss it? WHAT OFFICE?
  9. Therin lies the answer: Letting someone else have access! I can truly understand that position. A lot of people having access to their Data, could have problems . Viruses Etc. Hopefully DCA can come up with a solution, if not for 2008, then maybe 2009.
  10. My, Pretty defensive aren't we. Well I'm not going to get into a peeing match with you. You have your opinion and I have mine. I just can't understand why there is no way that DCA cannot get the scores and recaps up faster. By looking at the posts, I would say it is just a matter of getting into the 21st century. Have a nice day
  11. When doing a USSBA show, We call, Fax, or email the scores, Award sheets, and Recaps in Immediately after the show to the office. It only takes a little bit of time from one person to post them on the website.. I understand that the webmaster is doing double duty, and drives long distances, etc., but like I said it only takes one person to post them. I'm sure that someone in the office could do that. Maybe give them Friday off and ask for a couple of hours Saturday night or Sunday morning.
  12. I don't understand... DCI gets them up right away. USSBA does also.. Why can't DCA? Just a question...
  13. Cabs Alumni....always a treat, and Ponzo was his usual all star self, joined by Kurt and Steve (where was Duke)? Loved the Pictures of Spain opener, with the visual set up to tie to the music call and response. drumline executed well. Jimmy, up in the stands, is of course his own little show, and engaged the fans the whole time. Folks, these guys are the hardest working alumni corps out there, and have yet to ever dissapoint me. Thanks Jeff for the kind words. We enjoy playing for the crowds.. Yes, We work hard, but the results are worth it. Watching the crowds come to their feet is priceless. It will all come together in Rochester.. See you there Rump
  14. Good thread! Since DCP is at the stadium doing a play by play, why not ask them to get involved with the video transmission aspect of the show? I'm sure that they, at the least, have contacts in the business.
  15. Her name is Eleanor DUBE. I misspelled it in my post We call her ELLIE.. Thanks for the kind words . I'm sure if you need any additional information, you can contact the Director of The ALumni Corps, Peter Bishop.. RUMO
  16. Thanks for the great review... The lady's name is Elie Dube. She is a member of the Cabs Alumni Color Guard . She was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident on the way home from The Grand Prix last Saturday Night. We lost one of our family.. Thanks for the kind words. Frank did a great job on taps for Ellie... We dedicated the show to her as well.. RUMP
  17. OK here are my contributions to the thread Our Lady of Perpetual Help--- OLPH St Camillus from Rockaway, LI, NY--Fife, drum and bugle How about our Lady of Snows ---Stormy Nights.. Queens NY Always a contender at tht CYO's RUMP
  18. Thanks Frank for the kind words... It is nice to know that we are appreciated by the spectators as well as the competing corps.. We do take great pride in our show... and our chops RUMP
  19. I totally agree!!! Fran, having you and Barbara there means a lot to all of us. You make the evening even more enjoyable for both the fans and the corps members. Thanks to all the committee members for your hard work on making the 44th, one to remember.. GO CABS!!! RUMP
  20. The Cabs Alumni are at Eddie Mayo Field at 1100 Clifton Ave., Clifton, NJ from 11-4 and then we go to the stadium
  21. Cabs Alum Doin it like only those old pro's can. "Super Chops" doesnt begin to describe it! Any section out there. Those soloists leave you just shaking your head in disbelief at times. My only two complaints (and judging by the crowd, its just me), they are on the field a bit too long. I like my shows to hit, get it, and quit it. 10 minutes is my max. And i would rather watch the performers than the drum major but this particular major really is a distraction. No disrespect intended, just my personal preference. Thanks for the kind words... We have a BLAST doing our show for the fans.. Jimmy does what Jimmy always did... Keep the crowd wanting more.
  22. DCI policy or not -----it still sucks Why dis a corps when they worked their collective ###es of to perform.
  23. YOU ARE CORRECT!!!!!! I had a scheduling error in my head again.. However I will be there running the show on the YEA! side. Assisting the DCI coordinator on the field on the 5th with the CADETS..
