cru beat cabs 3 times that year and i don't remember the other show. peashey would know.

andy i don't know what you are talking about. we joined DCA n 1966 but we still did independant shows. we did theminto the 70's. when you look at the archives you see there are gaps where you don't see cru in a DCA show. but we were competing every week. you didn't need to be in just DCA shows.

i just checked to andy it was 5 times. you forgot scranton. so you were right. i don't count prelims.

andy in 1976 truman crawford did an arrangement of the star spangled banner and was played at every show by all the corps. it was the 200th anniversary of the country so that's why we did it. it was amazing . how did we ever do that........... maybe that's what you remember.

if everything is fair then this next week is when a corps will make it's move. many DCA champs started their run right at this time. it's all about what you get off the sheets and correct the problems. i know this was a long time ago but in 1969 the hurcs were losing bad. they made their move on this week and won DCA. in 19 70 the cabs were getting killed. this was the week they made their move and won DCA. everybody needs to calm down and let this play out.
