  1. Sounds good. Guess I better ###### up those tickets quick then! Have a great time! I'm bringing a non-drum corps person. Should be a good time.
  2. Thanks, Stef! When ordering online, it just says "green section," whatever that is. I guess I'll just have to get there as early as I can and hope for the best. :)
  3. I've never been to this show before and am trying to buy will call tickets right now. Can anyone tell me if this is a general admission show? It looks like you can't pick your seats when you buy tickets. I just need to know if I have to get there early for a good seat! Thank you!
  4. Wow, now I'm really excited for the parade tomorrow! I really hope to see them in white!
  5. Is there anyone in the know who could tell whether Pioneer might be donning the new uniforms for the South Shore Water Frolics parade tomorrow?
  6. I LOVE Pioneer's show this year! Interesting story...I brought a friend to the Madison show the other week who knows nothing about drum corps. I didn't tell him anything about the different corps going into it or what to expect or who's the "best" or anything. I was really curious to get his impressions from an outsider's viewpoint. After scores were announced, he turned to me and said, "I don't understand. Why did Pioneer come in last in World Class? They had the best show!" Now granted the man has no musical background whatsoever and probably can't tell much about the differences in ability between corps, I thought it was fascinating that he was the most entertained by Pioneer. He had Pio and Cavaliers tied! Pioneer has a lot to be proud of this year and people are definitely taking notice. I can't wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds! I'm hoping to make it to Naperville. I really want to see the new uniforms in person! Good luck, Pio!!!
  7. Yep, same thing here unfortunately. I sent them a feedback note about it.
  8. I live just down the street, too. For some reason I never noticed the show on the schedule until the day before. I was really bummed because had I known sooner, I definitely would have arranged my work schedule so I could have been there. It's not every day there is a drum corps show just down the street :) It's great to hear Racine Scouts are doing well. I'm always pulling for them. This is the first summer I haven't gotten to see them at all. I'm glad there was a nice supportive crowd for this show.
  9. I cannot believe it took me this long to finally look at this thread. This is hilarious! Count me in for the honk! HONK!!! Haha! I love it! :P
  10. I've seen Pioneer 4 times so far this summer, and each time I am more and more impressed with them. I think they have a really entertaining show this year. The music sticks to my brain (in a good way), the guard is awesome, and I love the new look! Big thumbs up. :)
  11. It looks like there are some "likely" thunderstorms in the weather forecast for Cedarburg tomorrow night.
  12. Also, Pioneer took 2nd in guard last night in Madison. Very nice! :)
  13. ME!!! New stadium??!?!! Awesome! Can't wait!
  14. They just returned my call right now and will be getting my tickets in the mail tonight. :)
  15. I called this morning and got the same message. I left a message, but no call back as of yet. I don't know if they sell tickets at the show since I've always had mine ahead of time in the past. I just know this show has had very high attendance every year I've gone and lots of people come very early. I sure hope we get a call back very soon! I'll let you know if I hear anything.
  16. HERE is a thread where tour fees are discussed. :)
  17. I read somewhere on DCP that with adding up all the various fees (audition fee, camp fees, uniform, etc.) the grand total was $1565. If I am remembering correctly, the only Div. 1 corps with lower fees was Troopers, and it wasn't by much.
  18. I have noticed the exact same thing, and this has been going on for quite some time. I think it's rather bizarre that someone spends so much time picking on one particular corps, yet he supposedly "wishes them well." Hmmm.... I'm sure we aren't the only ones who have noticed this either. Someone needs to find a more productive way to spend their time I think. If he is so concerned about Pioneer's numbers, why doesn't he try to help them recruit instead of bashing them every possible chance??? Just my 2 cents.
  19. I work from home, so luckily I get to watch the stream and work (well, at least TRY to work!!) simultaneously. It is a lot of fun to see all these corps that we don't get to see in our area. I have to say that I am VERY impressed with the level of talent so far! It is such a shame that more people aren't there. I would be if I could be. Well, I better try to get some actual work accomplished during the intermission, lol. Happy streaming, folks! This is great! :)
  20. The only problem is, the man who was murdered was named Timothy WICKS, not Hicks. That must be a typo on that website. The only reason I know this is because I live in Milwaukee and that was a big news story here when it happened. I sure do wonder where this mystery vehicle came from!
  21. Uhhh yeah, tell me about it. That is the one I really want! What's going on? :(
  22. I live in Milwaukee only a couple minutes' drive from the airport. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes for us to drive from here to Madison. :)
  23. Just stumbed over this while reading the paper and thought it was a nice article to share. Practicing what he preaches
