dccorpsfan
Blue Stars' infamous 1982 tour came through Cali as well. What happened with Blue Stars in 1982?
VKMello84
Epic journey?? Now don't make me flame on you about Div. II/III corps from Calforinia making "epic journeys" to the East Coast every year! eah, but those corps don't do enough shows to really justify being allowed to compete at DCI. b**bs
VKMello84
What happened with Blue Stars in 1982?I don't know the real answer to that. There must have been some major organizational turmoil which I am not privy to. Their time as a World Class drum corp had come to an abrupt end up unitl last season. They arrived in Riverside with a corps of about 60 and a half completed show. In 1980 they placed 13th and dropped out of the top twelve for the first time. 16th in '81, and then 37th in 1982.
