BEST & WORST 2007 T-SHIRT DESIGN

What ever happened with those really cool T-shirts designed for VK that was posted on DCP some months ago?

that's not even Phantom's best "On Air" shirt. i prefer the blue one with the phoenix on it.

cool concept -I would have bought one if it had said anything else but "iHonk", I don't often refer to hornlines as "honking" and would rather that term not be associated with horn playing at all. There is also the tangential reference to a "honky" that comes to mind when I see this shirt....overall just not good.

just a random thought, maybe "honks" on DCP should start putting "iHonk" in their signatures...

however the drum and guard shirts are pretty cool for this line

yeah, i'm not the biggest FAN of the word honk, but the picture being a baritone player, like myself, and the idea was too cool to pass up. i mean, what other one syllable word could they use for brass? iBlow? iPlay? iPlay doesn't really have enough punch, or something. i sucked up my dislike for the word honk to describe tone quality over adoration of the shirt concept :P

(and i DO have it in my signature...as do lots of folks)

I voted for BD's shirt, with Madison's honorable mention. I like the use of the Led Zeppelin album cover, and BD's is just plain cool. I voted for Cadets as my least favorite, as I just don't like the way it looks, too plain. Madison has a green shirt that feature the different fleur de lis' that the corps has used, which is my personal favorite and also in my closet. B)

The Crossmen shirt you have posted here is not their Tour T-shirt.

It was not VK's uniforms. A man and his team created the Pink Bunny, and the girl with the poka dots amoung others. These are great designs. And he gave them all to VK. Someone at VK said they would be selling these shirts. Yet nothing yet from their website. And this was done well before the season even started.

My favorite shirt of the year is Phantom Regiment's Motivation/Passion shirt. It's a great drum corps shirt, and it gets a lot of comments at the gym too. :)
