Dvldawg411
how about brigs, sun,?i know fusion uses Gs being that the Bb is still with in its first few years in all age, and a used G horn is probaly easier to find cheap than Bbs Brigs use G bugles. pvt_cairns
MBI uses Dynasty Bflat. Comming from one of the only junior corps (and I think now they are the only ones who still use g) it's a big change.
Jocko the Wonder Llama
Well, RCR WAS using all Dynasty "G" horns except for the Contras.....errr Tubas which were in Bb. :(
Aggie Dan
Frontier and Masquerade are all in G.
bumo27
What a misinformed shirt. The top 3 hornlines in DCA the last 3 years have used B flat horns. It's not a coincidence. Get new friends.
CallipygianKing
You will NEVER get the sound of them that you want if your comparing that sound to a G bugle. It means your going to have to start writing your book to match the horns. I doubt that we will be able to recreate the exact sound from the old sporanos, but that's just one of the things that has to be dealt with when a corps commits to switching. *shrug* I guess it's just a matter of new horns, new era. And we take our beautiful new horns and we rock out like we used to anyway. It's not the horns that make the corps sound good, it's the lips affixed to them.
