oldsoprano
You've mentioned this before and I just want to clear it up. Show promotion and advertisement, beyond regionals, is the responsibility of the show sponsors. When my organization in San Diego first re-established the san diego show, all that advertising and promotion was up to us. There's lots of free and low cost ways to reach local audience (all of which we used) through Cable TV and Radio.. it just takes a little leg work.DCI simply doesn't have the staff to promote every show along the tour. Stef But DCI was the sponsor of the Lubbock show, same as they were the sponsor of the shows at the Georgia Dome, the RCA Dome, in San Antonio and in Columbia, Mo., and Louisville, Ky., among others. There was no other "tour event partner" for the Lubbock show.
Casaba
Spoke with my son...raining and lightning all over the place in El Paso so that show isn't looking too good at the moment...maybe it will clear up

There still has to be a local organizer.. the ones who sign the contract, arrange the housing, provide the show site.. that's who's responsible for the advertising of the show.
