BlueByYou2000
Regardless of where all D1 Corps ended up finishing, if you were judging your FAVORITE shows, what would the results be? For me: 1) Phantom 2) Crown 3) Boston 4) Madison 5) Bluecoats Phantom-Musically, I thought this was the show of the year. Every song just sounded SO good. Phavorite Phantom show ever. Drumline was in a league of there own. Crown-HOLY WOW BATMAN, that hornline rules!! Boston-Whats not to love about there musical selections? Unis look great, really dug Bad ### Crusaders Madison-Who would have thunk back in June what this show would look like in August. WOW, possibly the best intro in history. Very cool and yup, it sounded Madison. Bloo-CONTRASSSSSSSSSSS!! - Steven Bryants Hummingbrrd was just so cool. Talk amongst yourselves. Backstrom
Judging judging or... judging entertainment value?
BlueByYou2000
Entertainment value.
13-on-deck
1) Blue Devils 2) Cavaliers 3) Phantom Regiment 4) Santa Clara Vanguard 5) Carolina Crown I think the judges pretty much got it right, but if you're going to allow me the "entertainment value" angle...Cadets definitely fall out of top 5 just from the cheese factor alone! BlueByYou2000
1) Blue Devils2) Cavaliers 3) Phantom Regiment 4) Cadets 5) Santa Clara Vanguard (I'd have punished Cadets more for the cheesy narration, otherwise the judges got it right imo). Gotcha, but this is more of a "Youre top 5 favorite shows" question.
KingJoeVII
this has no basis in reality...I'm taking this topic to be more like "the shows that I would like to watch over and over again on DVD" - which in my opinion should be the earmark of good shows. Crown - best programmed show in years from any corps Cadets - most demanding show in years from any corps Phantom - it got better as the show went on...the duet and Firebird were tremendous Crossmen - great crowd response and old school type show Madison - not the best arrangements and definitely not the cleanest, but the visual design was pretty good, plus it stood out as something different from the rest of the pack
dbc03
Purely from a personal entertainment standpoint Cadets Crown Blue Stars Cavaliers SCV
13-on-deck
Gotcha, but this is more of a "Youre top 5 favorite shows" question. Oh, I know. That is my top favorites (before you mentioned entertainment value, I had Cadets in the top 5 in fairness to their skill).
