CSGreen
Stuff happens, I am just glad the Govenaires were able to find another venue, so close, so fast. Many DCI, WGI, and other shows have gone by the wasteside when a venue becomes unavailable at the last minute. Looking forward to the weekend trip, just make sure the weather is nice :)

Looking forward to the weekend trip, just make sure the weather is nice :) Nothing would have stopped the Govies from hosting a show - we would have found a way some how :) If you do get a chance this weekend - you should drive by the new stadium at Gustavus as a preview of next years site! (or I will just have to tell ya how it is after we perform at half time @ the 1st home game Sept 8th) Safe travels to all that are travelling to MN! Don't miss out on the fun - travel to MN

mcg155
We wish you all the best of luck with the new site and the weather. Just to let you know, the weather here in Western NY has been down right beautiful for the shows we've been at. We're all wondering what the heck is up with that! We all hope it continues! It did rain a little at Central Square, but nothing like August 2006. Mark - Sabers

sopster
66 degrees and rain .... should prep us nicely for prelims again this year The South St. Paul show last night was tied with last year's Hurricane Ernesto show. No doubt. Absolutely miserable. I'm sure others who were there watching or performing can back me up. Wow! <**>

The rain held off till just as I pulled in the stadium parking lot, I think the Kilties were just finishing up their run through. Bummer. The Original El Guapo
We were lucky. About five minutes after we left the field. lightning struck the cell phone tower and the rain really came down. I know was disapointed that we didnt get a chance to do the Sunday show but the safety of my corps brother & sisters, members of other corps and the crowd came first. If anything it will give us a mental edge if we have a repeat of last years DCA Prelims. Im very happy that there were no accidents of corps members driving back to their respected homes on Sunday. I will see everybody at Rachacha!!!!!
