OK......if the Statesmen have not already picked a 2008 program, here's an idea:

"A Tribute To Marcel Marceau"

10-12 minutes of silent drill and interpretive movement, with the corps' members all dressed as mimes.

THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES HERE, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! This will take the "air and valves" concept to a new level!!!!!!!!

Sure, the brass and percussion judges might say "there's no demand" in this show.... but think for a minute:

Just having the discipline and focus to NOT play brass and percussion instruments while carrying them around on a competition field for 10 to 12 minutes is very demanding, in and of itself. Some might say it is virtually impossible to do so. So conversely, there would be MORE demand in this show than others!!!!!!

Then again, perhaps not........ :P

How about a tribute to yesterday Junior corps.....Roundabout (Yes) by Kilties, Free (Chicago) Blue Devils, LaFiesta (Chick Corea) by Muchachos, Hill Where The Lord Hides (Chuck Mangione) by Magnificent Yankees.
