wsssb
Our last rehearsal was cancelled due to a snow and ice storm on the east coast. I visited snow once. I don't think I liked it.
darkman
I would like to thank everyone who endured the weather and made this the best start of the 2008 season. 3/4 of the Brass book is written and played through. Rain really didn't show up until late afternoon on Sunday... We are still look for a couple of Soprano's, Mellophone's & Mallet players... Rain really didn't show up until late afternoon on Sunday... We are still look for a couple of Soprano's, Mellophone's & Mallet players... The Camp was a GAS! It was great to see everybody, as always. The horns were doing their best to 'chew' through nearly 9 minutes of music......the batery is learing some GREAT lot exercises that are quite musical, and the guard will continue to be a force to be reckoned with! Looking forward to a DRY Feb Camp. For fence sitters, or those who missed the Jan camp.......see you in a month.

One of the Sops
Looking at the weather map...all of teh LA area corps may need to sacrifice a virgin to get good weather...oh wait...this IS L.A. ....so much for the virgins! *Now being VERY glad he didn't consider "Titanic" for the first show" The quantity of virgins in L.A. is grossly underestimated! Sometimes, the brightest of virtues are most easily found in the darkest of places.
