KingJoeVII
"This is the first year the Cadets marched with Euphoniums following the switch to B-flat instruments in 2000. They marched 6 of them and carried them like suitcases when at a trail."I don't know why, but I found this funny. And I know one of the guys that marched euph that summer. He might find the "suitcase" description amusing. Rick Brown, trumpet, used to call us "suitcases" instead of "euphoniums" when Gino came in the next year. he changed it back to the original trail
i heard from someone
Did the music change throughout the year? yes...doesn't matter the show, the corps, or the year...the answer is yes. i would be shocked to hear of an example of when this didn't happen
JayM
question..should show names in the wiki be put in quotes? i.e. "Living With the Past" verses Living With the Past?I only ask because it changes the title and link of the page I guess it doesnt matter either way, but we should try and make it standard one way or the other... thoughts?? I think quotes are a bad idea. If you really need a way to distinguish shows from other content, you might as well just make a Show namespace. KingJoeVII
yes...doesn't matter the show, the corps, or the year...the answer is yes. i would be shocked to hear of an example of when this didn't happen well, yeah.... ...what i meant was a kind of change like in Cadets 06 when the opener changed from "History Repeating" by Propellerheads, to a kind of Twilight Zone redux mixed with "Twisted Nerve" or the many cut-n-paste transitions that Hop experimented with during "Thick as a Brick" in '04 that would also be something interesting to put in the wiki if you know of a piece where it didnt change from spring training on

JayM
I've mostly just made some corrections here and there. I grabbed the DrumCorpsInfoBox template from wikipedia and put it up on drumcorpswiki and implemented it in The Cavaliers page. Other minor things here and there as well, and I've made some comments on the project on Zamiel's Talk page. I guess if I get bored enough I'll start writing descriptions of the shows I marched. Marky Mark
Took a quick look at the "Through the Looking Glass" page, and I'm pretty sure C.S Lewis did not write Alice in Wonderland. Charles Lutwidge Dodgson is the author I believe.
