jonnyboy
I just saw something worse...a dinosaur lurking on DCP! Lame comment. A poorly worded post doesn't deserve a personal attack. Maybe he means men wearing guard uniforms that should only be worn by women.I've seen a couple of those this season and it's not pretty. I'm all for a "uniform" look - but it should be appropriate to both sexes Later, Mike Probably what the OP meant, well put.
Perry S
Did you not get the memo? Drum corps is totally gay now. Has been for a while. You know it SSSSIISSSTER! WOOT!!! 2 snaps up!
Meaghatron
I agree with what Guardguy89 said, which is probably what the OP was trying to say. Like Cavaliers 2005... those uniforms were a bit too feminine (and just plain ugly) for an all-male (or any males in) guard. I like when guards have male and female versions of their uniform. GGarrett
I bet no one in this thread knew we had a male in the Guardsmen guard in 1979. Same uniform.
RAPTORScout
Glassmen's 1993 uniforms could not possibly not win the Gold medal in this event. who needs grammar on the internets anyways?
gbell211
Male guard members wearing the same uniform as the females. Yikes! That's a BIG NO NO! Edited June 26, 2008 by gbell211
OLDSCHOOLER
Hmmm...isn't the term "uniform" supposed to mean that everyone looks the same?Geez, after years of guards looking like they've purchased clothes according to their own personal tastes from the likes of the Gap, seeing a guard in matching uniforms should be refreshing. Well...yea, if the Uni was the same Uni that the rest of the corp wears...but some of these Unis just don't look right on males...& I'll leave it at that...
